Original interior colours in the Trend House

The other day someone was going through the house and asked if the colours we chose for the interiors were based on the original colours that appeared in the Trend House when it was opened to the pubic in 1954.

Unfortunately there is no original colour photos that we’ve seen that would help (fingers crossed, there may be some out there and we may come across it some day), so we’ve relied on the written descriptions to put together the colour swatches. The striking thing is the deep saturation and brightness of the colour choices they made, which compliment the natural tones of the wood which must have been quite awesome to see.
